This Boskone workshop lasts about 2 hours. In the first 1-hour class our Guest Artist Charles Urbach describes the materials and discusses the reasoning and physical qualities involved with them. In the second 1-hour class, Charles demonstrates how to use the colored pencils to achieve the results that he produces with the pencils. That demonstration is a step-by-step process of material handling.

This workshop will run from 11:30-1:30 on Saturday, February 14, 2026 in the Galleria behind the Art Show. It is offered to Boskone members age 13 and up, and is limited to 20 people. This workshop costs $20, which is paid to Charles at the start of the first class.
